BSB's main campus has been located in Dijon since our founding in 1899, with multi-million euro renovations taking place as recently as 2017. The majority of our programmes run out of Dijon.

Operating since 2016, our Lyon campus is currently undergoing an incredible transformation and expansion, set to open for autumn enrolment 2021. Given that the city is the second largest digital hub in France, BSB runs selected programmes from here such as the MS Artificial Intelligence & Digital Technology Management.

  • Weekly workshops on various topics such as management, creativity, business models, or business planning.
  • A monthly lunch open to project owners as well as active entrepreneurs, industry professionals and potential investors.
  • Personalised coaching for project owners, allowing them to develop their business to the best of their ability and to be connected with potential partners, mentors and financiers.
  • Facilities and tools: working space with equipment (phone, computer, internet access), a meeting room and a kitchen area.
  • A team of more than 30 experts including researchers, teachers, coaches, supervisors, legal partners, lawyers and accounting experts. BSB also offers access to a network of local entrepreneurs and angel investors.

BSB offers an exciting opportunity for international students to spend a year abroad and earn a dual degree with one of our partner institutions for the cost of a one-year master’s programme.

How to qualify

In order to be eligible, you must enrol in either our Bachelor or Master in Management programme. Upon completion, you will receive two degrees: one from BSB and one from our partner institution.

The Erasmus+ programme


The Erasmus+ programme promotes mobility (both in Europe and internationally) for students, teachers, and staff in higher education institutions. It is an inclusive programme which also facilitates access for those with disabilities, health concerns, or learning challenges. BSB holds the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) and is an active Erasmus+ participant.

BSB has had an international flair from the early days of the institution's inception.
  • 1899 - Our institution opens its doors for the first time.
  • 1919 - The first American students arrive at our institution in Dijon.
  • 1922 - BSB creates a study abroad grant to help French students see the world.
  • 1963 - The first language laboratory is built in Dijon at our institution during the first extension of the campus.
  • 1965 - Our students go to China on an exchange trip, the first of its kind for a French school.
  • 1968 - BSB signs its first international exchange agreement with the Staatliche Höhere Wirtschaftschule in Pforzheim, Germany.
  • 2000 - We create our first international courses (offered in English, Spanish and German) and we develop management courses in a foreign language in the Grande École programme.
  • 2020 - BSB has 200 international academic partners, 62% of which are accredited.

The interest areas in which BSB student clubs and associations operate are as rich as they are varied. BSB students regularly organise events like Welcome Weekends, the Christmas Gala, inter-school competitions, and volunteer projects to support humanitarian or environmental causes.

All BSB student unions are committed to having a positive impact and encouraging diversity. They organise solidarity events such as Disability Day, blood donations, or campaigns to prevent the dangers of alcohol abuse during parties.

Black Owls
The Black Owls' objective is clear: to grow and evolve to become one of the biggest business school supporters in France. Wearing our school colours, creating songs or banners, using smoke and megaphones - all of that is part of our daily life. BSB Sport & Wine

BSB Sport & Wine
Combining two great things, the Burgundy School of Business Sport & Wine Club is in charge of organising a sporting and cultural competition to promote the Burgundian culture while testing your sporting limits. Every year, students from BSB and other higher education institutions meet during a sports and cultural weekend in Burgundy. The programme includes a cocktail party with university partners, students and VIP guests as well as hiking a 10 km trail in the vineyards for tastings and visits to wine estates, plus evening entertainment. As you can imgine, it is a highlight in our calendar every year - don't miss the next one!

The Bureau Des Étudiants (BDE) integrates new students and brings together all the promotions around essential events such as the One Night One Bar which allows you to discover the different associations of the School, the Integration Weekend or the Christmas Gala. Burgundy Finance
Burgundy Finance is the finance association of BSB. Our goal is to promote finance within the school through various activities: trading simulations, conferences, meetings with BSB alumni, workshops and more. If you are interested in cryptocurrency and financial products, or if you aspire to be a mini trader in your free time, then there is no better way to meet, share, and better understand the world of finance and investments.

Equality's aim is to promote equality and inclusion by fighting against all forms of discrimination. Its main goals are to raise awareness, prevent inequality, promote women's rights, and involve all BSB students regardless of their gender, race, background and culture. They work hard to promote a change of mentality in education and especially in the companies that BSB graduates will move on to. Equality's motivation is to continue to make things happen by proposing ways to think together about solutions for an inclusive world.

Fédéra'Lyon

Student Club Fédéra'Lyon
The mission of the student federation of the Lyon campus is to manage, organise and coordinate BSB's club life in Lyon as well as to integrate new students, to acquire and manage sponsorship, to coordinate the goodies for the WEI, and the Day of integration. We also organise evenings that bring the campus to life, from the Christmas Gala to the Afterwork to cultural evenings. La Fédéra’Lyon will do its best to adapt to student demand, with new events popping up all the time. Hum'Events (Humanitarians)

Student club Hum'events
Hum’Events is the school’s humanitarian association. Our mission is to make ourselves useful at the local level while involving students and associations through various events: collection of yellow coins, collection of clothes for the homeless in Dijon, blood donations, health screenings, and race against breast cancer. We also go beyond Burgundy by helping students to participate in the 4L Trophy, the biggest solidarity rally in the Moroccan desert intended for students, or in the humanitarian trip that we organise. If you are generous in nature and want to participate in projects that are useful to others, then come join us!

Le Cercle Politique (Public Speaking)

Student club Le Cercle Politique
The Political Circle is the association for the debate of ideas and persuasive speaking. The association organises coffee debates, conferences, training in public speaking as well as an eloquence competition within the Dijon metropolis where students from BSB, Sciences Po and the University of Burgundy attend. Recently, the Political Circle organised an internationally renowned event, TEDx BSB: conferences that disseminate “worthwhile” ideas. If you want to develop your speaking skills, if you have a lively and curious mind, if you like heated discussions over coffee, or if you wonder about the evolution of society, then your place is at the Political Circle.

Madn'Esc (Extreme Sports)

Madn'esc
Madn’esc is the extreme sports association of BSB. With us you can spend a week with a group of friends taking the plunge and riding the rapids in a lively river, or skiing down the slopes at the weekends, or even participating in the biggest European inter-school ski competition. Our crazy events often have a feel-good factor too because through our fundraising efforts, we raise money for charities or other associations. Stretch your limits, do a good deed, and experience the best school events - grab your courage and come join the association that will take you to extremes!

Mode Emois (Fashion)

Mode’Emois
Mode'Emois is the BSB fashion association which brings students together to explore different styles and ways of seeing fashion. Throughout the year, Mode'Emois shares the latest fashion news each week and organises pop-up stores and events to promote the Dijon shops. It also supports charities by making and selling brooches and other accessories. Above all, their flagship event is an incredible fashion show which highlights the talent, logistical and management skills of BSB students.

Prism (Audiovisuals)

PRISM
Prism is the audiovisual association of BSB; we discuss cinema, photography and videography. Our members immortalise all school events so that you will always have incredible memories of your student life. And we can help you with more professional audio-visual needs too such as CV or LinkedIn photos, conducting interviews, or creating short films. Plus, our cinephiles will offer you film outings, reviews of the latest films, and screenings on campus! Whether you want to write, film, take photos or edit, you belong with us at Prism!

XV de la Chouette (Rugby)

XV de la Chouette
Le XV de la Chouette is the sports association that manages rugby within the school. We manage women's and men's rugby through our competitions and events. For all oval ball enthusiasts, we offer the EM Cup, an entire weekend of sports competitions as well as the Alumni Match, a meeting between students and graduates. Whether you are an amateur or a semi-professional, as long as you have team spirit you are welcome to join our team! Come help us play, compete and enjoy unforgettable moments at our rugby events!

Bee'Sports- Bureau des Sports

Student Association Bee'Sports- Bureau des Sports
The mission of the Sports Office is to share its passion for sport with BSB's students and to help them regularly practice their favourite sporting activities. Think of them like sports magicians, always motivated to offer you sports sessions on weekends, to introduce you to new sports activities and to enable you to participate in major sports tournaments. The Sports Office brings sports to life at BSB by organising activities for students throughout the year, and by participating in inter-school competitions and our own Olympic Games. In fact, in 2019 the BSB football team won the French Business Schools Cup!

Burgundy Junior Consulting

BURGUNDY JUNIOR CONSULTING
BSB Junior Consulting is the Junior-Enterprise of Burgundy School of Business and part of the French Confederation of Junior Enterprises. It sells consulting to entrepreneurs, SMEs and big firms. Following the model of a consulting firm, BJC hires students from BSB in order to enable them to practice their theoretical skills in simulated corporate environments.

BS Jobs

BS Jobs
BS Jobs is the association of BSB's Job Service. It connects our students with various companies or individuals by offering them all types of temporary paid assignments so that they can get a foothold in the world of work. As a member of the association you will be able to work directly with companies, develop your interpersonal skills, and become an essential player between students and professionals. Put your skills into practice by supporting our association, develop new ones and especially, help your fellow BSB students make ends meet.

Bureau des Jeux (Games)

Bureau Des Jeux
The Bureau des Jeux (BDJ) is the association that organises all the events that bring together students around games, from old time classics to video to online gaming. Throughout the year, the BDJ proposes many interactive events such as Casino Evenings, Escape Games, and Murder Mysteries. We also help students discover and practice board games, video games, and we even host E-sport tournaments for games such as League of Legends or Clash Royal. Come play with us!

Ecologic'Owl

Ecologic'Owl
This association promotes ecology within BSB. It works to “green” the campus through several projects: recycling and selective sorting awareness campaigns, installation of fun ashtrays, sales of eco-responsible products, and cosmetics workshops. It also produces environmental reports, which are broadcast to all BSB students. Recently, new projects in partnership with other associations have emerged: EcoRun with the BDS and the Green Festival with the BDE. Contribute to the change by joinging us and #Leadforgreen!

Euphori'Art - Bureau des Arts

Student club Ly'On Fire
The Bureau des Arts brings together the artistic souls of BSB. It manages the organisation of classes for various artistic activities offered by the school such as singing, dancing and graphic arts. Every year, it organises the Christmas show where students perform different activities on stage. It is also in charge of taking students to Barcelona (Spain) during the Trophée des Arts, an artistic competition between business schools. The philosophy of this association is based on sharing, openness and good humour!

Fédération des Etudiants (Student Federation)

The Student Federation is responsible for coordinating and supporting the 25 associations on the Dijon campus by maintaining cohesion and helping others work as a team. Each year, the Federation participates in and encourages the creation of new associations, club or projects within BSB. Iradi'Esc (Journalism)

Student club Iradi'Esc
Iradi'esc is an association initially devoted to radiography, but little by little, it has diversified into more journalistic content via social networks on school life and local news. We do not hesitate to collaborate with other BSB associations in order to develop new projects. If you are attracted to journalism and want to investigate all that school life has to offer, then Iradi’esc is made for you!

Le Dijonnais (City Guides)

Student club Le Dijonnais
Le Dijonnais is an association of BSB’s city guides. The members of this club work to find the best places in the city: restaurants, bars, shops... Everything a student could need! Think of it like a treasure map for international students and visitors. Where is the best vintage hidden? What is the most interesting exhibition currently running? Where can you taste the best Beef Bourguignon? How do you find the Owl, the symbol of Dijon and a good luck charm when you touch it with your left hand? Between exceptional partnerships, tips and good advice, Le Dijonnais opens new doors for the conquest of the famous "City of a hundred steeples". Thanks to Le Dijonnais, Dijon reveals all its secrets.

Our mission is to welcome international students in order to help them feel at home as soon as they arrive on campus. Need a buddy? Owl for You (School Shop)

Owl For You
Owl For You is both the school shop and the solidarity grocery store. You can proudly wear the school colours to show your attachment through a wide choice of items: t-shirts, sweatshirts, bags, notebooks, hats, water bottles and even sunglasses! If you encounter certain financial difficulties, we can help you benefit from food or hygiene products from our solidarity grocery store. So if you want to run the school shop or help your classmates, don't wait any longer and join us!

Vignobl'Esc (Food & Wine)

Vignobl'Esc
Vignobl'Esc is the association of BSB oenology and gastronomy enthusiasts. This club gives students access to a wonderful world where viticulture, geography, history and gastronomy are mixed. They run tastings to discover the wines of France and the world, breakfasts and lunches, cooking competitions, thematic evenings and many other events throughout the year. Vignobl'Esc invites all BSB students to its table: the experts and the gourmets, or the simple amateurs who like to share and learn.
